UAB offers 2-factor authentication for enhanced security. Individuals using 2-factor are not required to change their BlazerID passwords annually. To sign up, visit uab.edu/2factor.

A number of campus services utilize the BlazerID for authentication, but
not all of them have accounts automatically activated for
existing users. Submitting the form below will check your password to be sure
it meets current UAB standards and then notify the aforementioned services. This
page can also be used to ensure that your password is in sync across all the
directories which support BlazerIDs.
If you do not know or are unsure about your BlazerID, check the Do I Have a BlazerID? link. You should use the Register BlazerID link if you have not previously claimed or set a password for a pre-assigned BlazerID. You should use the Change BlazerID Password link if you do not know your current password.
